DUMA is a new brand carbolic soap introduced recently in Ghana by Homesense Limited. The name DUMA is the Swahili word for cheetah. The logo is a clean and spotless cheetah. It denotes the powerful cleansing abilities of the soap. The soap is a mildly disinfectant soap containing carbolic acid (phenol) as active ingredient. The noodles used in producing DUMA carbolic soap are Refined Palm Stearin-based. The ingredients are specially formulated to give it an attractive natured carbolic color and user-friendly shape of international appeal. It has a very good lathering ability and is suitable for bathing as evidenced.
DUMA carbolic soap is an antiseptic soap effective against germs (such as bacterial, mold and yeast) on the skin. It is good for skin treatment such as skin rashes, pimples, heat rashes, eczema and acne. It is good for both children and adults. Other than its antiseptic properties, it is incorporated with a fragrant natural oil which acts as insect repellant.
