The Brand “Duma”
“Duma” is a Swahili word meaning Cheetah. We aligned the name to cheetah to convey a message to users; there is an adage that says “ you cannot change the spots of a leopard/cheetah” but our soap range, DUMA, can facilitate an enduring “CHANGE” to your fabrics, hence the name.
The Brand, “Duma”, delivers efficacy with speed which is the prime character of Cheetah.
This name was chosen when the CEO went to Kenya on a business trip in 2013 and took advantage to go on a safari at Masai Mara. As she watched this fast cat hunting during the day from a distance, she was dreaming to use this cat exploits to the company’s new product she has conceived in 2012!
